On March 5, a delegation of Turkish businessmen visited China Coal Group to investigate the whole process of R&D and production of mining equipment and construction machinery, such as winches, excavators, etc., and signed a long-term purchase agreement with the Group. This cooperation marks another breakthrough of China Coal Group in the markets along the ‘Belt and Road’ by relying on the advantages of new quality productivity and intelligent manufacturing.
Intelligent Manufacturing Leads Production Innovation, Turkish Customers Witness Technical Strength on the Ground
Accompanied by Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Informatization of China Coal Group and Zhong Yun Intelligent Machinery(Yantai)Corp.,LTD, Turkish businessmen visited China Coal Group's digital workshop, intelligent equipment production line and R&D center. The production process of new-generation winches and excavators was displayed on site, including the key links such as intelligent welding robot operation and remote control system debugging, which fully demonstrated the new quality productivity of China Coal Group centered on intelligent manufacturing. The customers highly recognized the Group's self-developed construction machinery products, especially impressed by the equipment's high efficiency power output, intelligent operation interface and modular design concept.
Deepening ‘The Belt and Road’ Cooperation, Purchase Orders Focus on Green and Efficient Equipment
After several rounds of technical docking and business negotiation, Turkish customers and China Coal Group formally signed a procurement contract, covering multiple models of mining winches, electric excavators and ancillary equipment. The order will be used for mining and infrastructure construction in Turkey, and the two sides also reached a consensus on the customization of equipment, after-sales service localization and other cooperation. Yu Cui, Executive Deputy General Manager and General Manager of E-commerce of China Coal Group, said that the Group has actively responded to the ‘The Belt and Road’ initiative, and through the integration of 5G Internet of Things (IoT) technology, optimization of supply chain synergies and other initiatives, the Group will continue to improve the energy efficiency of its equipment and environmental protection standards, so as to provide global customers with lower-carbon solutions for construction machinery.
New Quality Productivity Drives International Strategy, Adds Another Milestone to Global Layout
This cooperation is another important achievement of China Coal Group after the orders from Malaysia and Bangladesh since the beginning of 2025. Relying on self-developed intelligent mining equipment and flexible production lines, the Group has formed a new quality productivity system of ‘R&D-Manufacturing-Service’, and its products are exported to 173 countries and regions.
