To warmly celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, carry forward the revolutionary heritage, draw strength for forging ahead, and further integrate Party building with corporate culture, Shandong China Coal Group grandly hosted the themed event "Carry Forward the Revolutionary Heritage, Shoulder the Mission of the Times" at the Group Conference Center on June 30. Co-organized by the Group Party Committee, Trade Union, Communist Youth League Committee and Women's Federation, the event gathered Qu Qing, Chairman of China Coal Group, Han Yong, General Manager, Guan Chenghui, Party Secretary, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, as well as all members of the leadership team, Party members, cadres and staff. With full enthusiasm and diverse artistic performances, participants paid tribute to the century-long Party history and sang praises to the glorious era, fully demonstrating the brand-new mental outlook of China Coal industrial workers in the new era who unite as one and forge ahead with solid work.
The venue was solemn, dignified and well-ordered. The July 1 thematic assembly officially kicked off with the majestic and resonant National Anthem of the People's Republic of China. All attendees stood in solemn respect and sang the national anthem together, filling the whole venue with a strong atmosphere of patriotism and loyalty to the Party. After the national anthem, Han Yong, General Manager of the Group, delivered a special speech for the July 1 celebration. He reviewed the glorious century-long struggle of the Communist Party of China, summarized the achievements of the Group's Party building work this year, elaborated on the vital role of Party building in guiding the enterprise's work safety, operational development and team development, and fully recognized the outstanding contributions made by all Party members, cadres and staff who fulfill their duties and take on responsibilities at their posts.
Guan Chenghui, Party Secretary, and Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology, delivered speeches respectively combining enterprise development and Party building work. They encouraged all staff to carry forward the revolutionary heritage, stay true to the original aspiration and mission, devote themselves to their posts with greater passion and a more pragmatic work style, strive for excellence, and boost the high-quality and steady development of all undertakings of the enterprise.
Subsequently, a solemn ceremony of reviewing the Party admission oath was held on site. All Party members, wearing Party emblems, stepped onto the stage collectively, raised their right fists facing the bright red Party flag, and resounding oaths echoed through the venue. Every weighty word in the oath represented the solemn commitment of all Party members to the Party and the people, as well as an in-depth baptism of Party spirit and ideological refinement. By reviewing the original aspiration of joining the Party, Party members further strengthened their awareness of identity, responsibility and mission, and forged a strong ideological consensus to follow the Party's lead and make new achievements.
After the oath-taking ceremony, a splendid art show began. Distinct in theme and rich in content, the show closely revolved around the red mainstream, integrating core elements including inheritance of Party history, enterprise development and dedication at work. All performances were written and staged by Party members, cadres and frontline workers from various departments of the Group. With sincere emotions and full enthusiasm, they sang an era anthem of loving the Party and the motherland and boosting enterprise development through solid work.
The magnificent chorus Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China opened the art show. The choir of Party representatives sang in unison, with stirring melodies expressing the sincere aspiration of all China Coal staff to unswervingly follow the Party and faithfully uphold their original aspiration. Afterwards, a variety of wonderful performances were staged one after another. The poetry recitation The Party Flag Flutters, China Coal Forges Ahead perfectly integrated the Party's century-long journey with the enterprise's development stories. Powerful and affectionate lines vividly interpreted the responsibility and commitment of China Coal staff to stay true to their aspiration and forge ahead.
The opera excerpt Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy featured resonant and melodious singing, allowing the audience to perceive the original red aspiration and inherit the revolutionary spirit through the charm of traditional arts, winning rounds of warm applause. The medley of red songs Century Red Charm linked a series of classic red melodies with progressive rhythm and immersive atmosphere, conveying sincere best wishes to the Party and the motherland. The recitation Work Hard to Develop the Enterprise, Live Up to Youth focused on work safety, innovative development and dedication at posts, fully showcasing the youthful vitality of young China Coal employees in the new era who take root in frontline positions and strive for excellence. The whole performance reached climax after climax with continuous applause, and drew a perfect close with all participants singing the chorus Unity Is Strength. Singing in high spirits, all staff formed a powerful joint force to unite as one, forge ahead with solid work and jointly embrace new development of the enterprise.
This July 1 themed event was not only a grand red feast dedicated to the birthday of the Party, but also a Party spirit education to unite minds, shape souls and stay true to the original aspiration.
