To deepen industry-education integration and advance collaborative innovation between universities and enterprises, on March 2, Professor Song Chuanzeng, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Shandong Jianzhu University, along with Professor Zhang Wei, Ph.D., and Professor Zhang Zongxi, Ph.D., visited China Coal Group for guidance and cooperation discussions. Group Chairman Qu Qing, General Manager Han Yong, General Manager of Information Technology and General Manager of Zhongyun Group Li Zhenbo, Party Secretary Guan Chenghui, and heads of various business divisions warmly received the visiting experts.
The visiting expert delegation visited the Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall, UAV & Intelligent Robot Exhibition Hall, and AI Intelligence Center of China Coal Group. They also went deep into the group’s branches including Cross-border E-commerce, E-commerce, Operation and Technology, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the group’s innovative achievements and industrial layout in artificial intelligence, industrial internet, high-end equipment manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce and other fields.
At the symposium, President Li delivered a welcome address, extending a warm welcome to the expert delegation from Shandong Jianzhu University and providing an overview of China Coal Group's development. As a high-tech enterprise prioritized for cultivation at the national, provincial, and municipal levels, the Group has accumulated extensive experience in artificial intelligence, intelligent equipment, and drone training. We look forward to leveraging complementary strengths with Shandong Jianzhu University, deeply integrating the Group’s practical resources with the university’s scientific research expertise to open a new chapter in university-enterprise collaboration.
Professor Song provided a detailed overview of Shandong Architectural University, a multidisciplinary institution specializing in architecture with a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering, currently enrolling over 30,000 students. He highlighted the university’s achievements in academic development, talent cultivation, scientific research, and drone training programs, emphasizing its educational philosophy of 'integrating industry and education to serve regional economic development.' He expressed a desire to deepen industry-education integration with China Coal Group, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes through university-enterprise collaboration.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on areas of cooperation and reached broad consensus:
First, deepen university-enterprise collaboration in the drone sector. Both parties will leverage their respective strengths in site resources, technical expertise, and training qualifications to explore the joint development of a drone training platform. This initiative aims to expand relevant technical application scenarios and jointly advance talent cultivation and industrial innovation within the low-altitude economy.
Second, strengthen collaborative research in the field of intelligent manufacturing. Building upon both parties'technological expertise in intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and related domains, future cooperation will focus on tackling key technological challenges, advancing the commercialization of research outcomes, and jointly pursuing high-level research projects. This will foster a virtuous cycle of interaction among industry, academia, research, and application.
Third, establish a diversified talent co-development system. Both parties plan to sign a university-enterprise cooperation framework agreement to jointly build internship and practical training bases. They will conduct joint talent cultivation focused on the group’s key industrial sectors and explore cooperation opportunities in skill competitions and vocational training to foster the growth of high-caliber technical and skilled personnel.
This meeting laid a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between the two parties. Both sides expressed their commitment to expedite the implementation of the cooperative framework agreement and jointly contribute their wisdom and strength to serving regional economic development and national strategic needs.
