
On March 23, a team of journalists from Jining Hi-Tech Zone TV Station visited China Coal Group to conduct a special interview on the enterprise's latest achievement in digital transformation—the "China Coal AI Intelligent Central Platform". Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Informatization at China Coal Group and General Manager of China Transportation Group, accepted the interview at the Group's AI Intelligent Center and elaborated on the platform's innovative applications in intelligent marketing, automated operation and data management and control.
At the AI Intelligent Center, the staff demonstrated the platform's real-time monitoring, dispatching and closed-loop management of the enterprise's global business data, intelligent marketing terminals and automated operation nodes through the system's large screen. The platform deeply integrates five core technologies: large model algorithm, multi-modal data fusion, machine learning, natural language processing and edge computing, and is equipped with a self-optimized intelligent scheduling engine. It realizes efficient processing of massive data and accurate implementation of AI tasks, effectively replacing traditional repetitive manual operations. During the interview, the journalists also interacted with the platform through human-machine dialogue, and directly experienced the intelligent response capability of the AI system.
Mr. Li introduced that to address the pain points of traditional enterprise operation such as low efficiency, high labor costs, poor data connectivity and lagging marketing services, the Group has set the goals of "digital transformation, intelligent cost reduction and high-efficiency empowerment" since 2025 and launched the construction of the AI Intelligent Central Platform. Faced with technical challenges including incompatibility of multi-system data, insufficient training accuracy of AI models and difficulty in adapting to automated scenarios, the R&D team has made arduous efforts for 11 months. It has set up a special technical team, iterated algorithm models repeatedly and conducted tests in connection with frontline business scenarios, successfully breaking down data barriers, optimizing AI computing power and improving scenario adaptation. At present, the platform has integrated intelligent systems such as AI unmanned promotion, AI unmanned optimization, AI unmanned outbound call, AI unmanned matrix release, AI unmanned recruitment and AI unmanned finance, fully empowering internal operations, and has been selected into the list of "Three Excellent and Two Key" projects of Shandong Province's big data industry in 2025. In practical application, the AI unmanned outbound call reaches more than 1,000 customer groups per day, recruitment efficiency is increased by 60%, the working hours of financial automated accounting are shortened by 50%, marketing promotion costs are reduced by 30%, and the overall operational efficiency has doubled.
Mr. Li stated that in the next step, the Group will continue to iterate and upgrade the platform's functions, explore more intelligent application scenarios in the industry, and build a more complete AI ecosystem. Meanwhile, relying on provincial-level honors, the Group will accelerate market-oriented promotion, provide digital and intelligent solutions for more small and medium-sized enterprises, strive to serve more than 1,000 customers within the year, and set a new benchmark for AI empowerment in the industry.
