On May 8, Naipote Tako Katonitabua, Director of the Asian Region of the Global Digital Trade Industry Union (DTU), and Qi Weichuan, Director of the China Region, led a delegation of over 30 personages in charge of associations from seven regions including East China, North China, Southwest China and Northeast China. Accompanied by Xiong Xiuqin, President of Jining Digital Trade Industry Association, and Wei Xinqian, Vice President, the delegation visited China Coal Group for inspection and exchange.
The delegation visited in sequence the Precision Agricultural Machinery Exhibition Hall, Intelligent Manufacturing Achievement Exhibition Hall, Construction Machinery Digital Workshop, Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall, UAV & Intelligent Robot Exhibition Hall, and AI Intelligent Center of China Coal Group. The group’s leading achievements in intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence application and digital transformation were highly recognized by the delegation.
At the symposium, General Manager Li Zhenbo gave a comprehensive introduction to the development course and strategic layout of China Coal Group. He stated that as early as 2008, China Coal Group took the lead in transforming from traditional manufacturing to e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce and digital trade. It has now developed into a diversified group integrating the R&D, production and sales of intelligent manufacturing equipment such as mining equipment and construction machinery.
The group’s products have been exported to 176 countries and regions worldwide. Trademark registration and product certification have been completed in 37 countries and regions including the European Union and Russia, while an overseas warehouse and agent network has been established simultaneously. Its business covers manufacturing, e-commerce, logistics, film and media, education and training and other sectors. The group is accelerating the implementation of the "Brand Going Global" strategy to build a global industrial ecosystem.
Chairman Naipote Tako Katonitabua spoke highly of China Coal Group’s innovative achievements and practical application of AI technology in mining equipment, construction machinery and other fields, and affirmed the group’s strong potential for international development. Chairman Qi Weichuan said that leveraging respective advantages, the Union and China Coal Group will achieve win-win cooperation. The Union will provide overseas channel resources in ASEAN and the Middle East, helping China Coal Group further expand the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
President Xiong Xiuqin emphasized that both sides should advance practical cooperation and translate exchange achievements into tangible development results. The two sides confirmed on-site plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation, deepen collaboration in AI foreign trade, digital trade talent training and coordinated layout of overseas markets. Taking China Coal Group as a benchmark, both sides will jointly explore a new path for the high-quality development of digital trade.
