On May 15, the 2026 First Forum on AI Empowering the Development of All Industries and the Inauguration Ceremony of Jining Digital Economy Expert Advisory Committee was grandly held in Jining High-tech Zone under the theme of "Smart Digital Jining, Win-win Future". Guided by the Weihai Electronic Information Technology Comprehensive Research Center of MIIT, the conference was hosted by the Jining Municipal Committee of China Democratic National Construction Association and Jining Digital Economy Association, assembling over 300 representatives from government, enterprises, universities and research institutions. China Coal Group was invited to the event. Han Yong, General Manager of the Group, was honored as the "2025 Outstanding Chief Data Officer (CDO) of Jining City". In addition, Han Yong and Li Zhenbo, General Manager of the Group Information Department and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, were appointed as expert members of Jining Digital Economy Expert Advisory Committee.
During the industry sharing session, Mr. Li delivered a keynote speech titled AI Systems of China Coal Group Empower High-Quality Development of All Industries on behalf of the Group. He systematically introduced the full-chain application practices of the AI unmanned sales system developed by the Group’s overseas expert team. The AI intelligent promotion system can release more than 1,000 pieces of information per day, the AI outbound calling system makes an average of 3,000 daily calls, and intelligent customs declaration improves efficiency by 32%. Taking a cooperating enterprise in Jiangsu as an example, he mentioned that the enterprise cut annual labor costs by 5 million yuan and achieved a 30% performance growth after adopting the system. Furthermore, Mr. Li put forward three forward-looking industry trends: universal exclusive AI agents for individuals, comprehensive popularization of AI technologies, and the construction of independent corporate business ecosystems, demonstrating China Coal Group’s solid strength and industrial insight in promoting industrial upgrading through artificial intelligence.
The acquisition of two honors and the keynote speech fully manifests the Group’s outstanding talent advantages and innovative leading capability in the digital economy field. In the next stage, China Coal Group will continue to take root in Jining, further strengthen AI technology research and development as well as scenario implementation, boost the digital and intelligent transformation of various industries, and make greater efforts to build a highland for regional digital economic development.
